artefacts available for shipping worldwide... Martin Heal hand-crafts unique wooden swords from his residence at scenic Lake Ohau in the heart of New Zealand's Southern Alps. This website showcases his work and gives the historic context of the swords, as well as detail about the woods and methods used. Martin, living in 'Lord of
the Rings' country, played the role of an orc during the filming
of the battle of Pelennor Fields. This scene was filmed just outside
the town of Twizel (South Island N.Z.) with the Ben Ohau mountain
